March 25–26, 2025 | Alegria, Bohol, Philippines
As part of its continued commitment to supporting education and community development in the Philippines, Foundation for the Poor Inc. (FFP) conducted a mission visit to Arnold Janssen Kalinga Foundation in Alegria, Bohol.
The two-day site visit focused on assessing the ongoing needs of the mission community and strengthening collaboration with local partners. The Arnold Janssen Kalinga Foundation plays a vital role in providing educational support, values formation, and community-based initiatives that uplift children and families in the area.

During the visit, the team engaged with community leaders and beneficiaries to better understand current challenges and opportunities for growth. Conversations centered on improving access to education, supporting sustainable programs, and identifying areas where partnership and support could create greater long-term impact.
This mission visit reinforced the importance of on-the-ground presence—listening, observing, and walking alongside communities to ensure that support is responsive, meaningful, and sustainable. By strengthening collaboration with the Arnold Janssen Kalinga Foundation, Foundation for the Poor continues its mission of empowering communities through education, compassion, and shared responsibility.
As FFP moves forward, this visit to Alegria, Bohol stands as another step toward building lasting partnerships that nurture hope and create positive change for future generations.
